Hi ya'll, this is Janet posting for Shelly again. Not much as been going on around here; we've been resting up after the busyness of the wedding and house guests. Shelly has still been the house cleaning dynamo, although she did go to bed one night with a slightly messy kitchen. Yay for Shelly!
I'm getting spoiled on having Shelly here, I've been sick since Wednesday and she keeps taking care of me. She is such a wonderful woman, I'm not going to want her to leave. John, you'll just have to stay in Juneau!
Josh and Caleb applied for a job at Don Ables, we are expecting to hear back from them this week.
I'll try and take some pictures of everyone tomorrow.

Kate and Murphy ran ahead, and Max went to catch up. He isn't supposed to run, and when we got back around the pond side, he and Murphy swam in the pond chasing birds.

I love it when the clouds swirl around Thunder Mountain. The last picture is Shelly and Kate looking at all the wedding pictures on my computer.

We had a seafood supper.. we had crab and halibut.

Josh and Erik.. Erik and Miriah came over on Sunday for the fish supper.. Janet took lots of pictures, and everyone got tired of it and laughed at her.

Josh got in last night around 9:30. After arriving all the group went to Pel Meini's.
On Monday, we worked around the house, and Kate made Josh a chocolate birthday cake. Shelly made 2 huge taco pies.

David and Caleb were bringing wood into the house.
Shelly just thought that all of her painting duties were done. Janet wanted her window red, so she got to work.
Kate has become the official lawn mower.
Murphy wanted his kate, and could see her from the window. Shelly said get Kate, so he tried!

July 4th

This is at the 4th of July parade...This is me and my mom....i really didnt want my picture taken so i didnt smile......

This pic is of my uncle Steve and my aunt Janet..This was taken after the parade. this was takin by my aunt Janet...these are peoople that were at the parade..and the little boy with the flag is Asher..My aunt loves Asher. These people were in the parade and they were cool.. The guy in the red,white and blue suit is a 4th of July clown This truck is a fire truck i think...

I was watching the parade...it was really cool....
These fourwheeler people were doing really cool tricks...Me, my mom, and my uncle steve were talking and looking out at the water while we were waiting to get a table at the Hanger(its a restraunt) This is one of those plane things that land on the water....This is part of downtown...the building looking thing in the back is actually a really big cruise ship that just docked... Me and my mom sittinng on a fallen over tree that was going across the flowing river... I was looking at the rushing river....The guy that me and my mom where talking to was paning for gold..We got to see Gold Flecks.... Another guy paning for gold.... This is me climbing up a hill of rocks...And that is my mom watching me... This is me going down a hill of rocks....

Hiking the East Glacier Trail

ok... i know this is gross, but when we went hiking we saw this and didnt know if it was
dog or bear poop...we figured out that it was bear poop...so that means that there was once
a bear where we were standing.........scary.........

This is the rushing river that eventually flows into a huge waterfall; (not the one you see us putting our hands under,,the one by the glacier)...This was also the end of our hike where we sat down and ate sandwiches...Then we hiked all the way back to where we started...This was like a 4 mile hike overall...
This glacier is named the Mendenhall Glacier... Its close enough that we can actually walk to it from our house..
This waterfall is named A.J Falls....If you look closely you can see the rainbow...
This is my mom when she was putting her hand under A.J Falls. she was getting all wet from it...
This is me...I got water from A.J Falls and drank it..the water tasted cold and fresh...I also got wet from it..
